If you want to have uncontrollable kids (or raise them that way), go right ahead. And also deal with them in your own home. A meal is about more than the food you put in your body (you could simply eat at home or roll through a drive-thru, were that the case); it's about the experience. I don't want my experience to be tainted by your screaming, obnoxious children.
In fact, if I could get a single airline to do the same, I'd probably preferentially fly with them.
