My intention was to get a good, full night's rest this evening.But I had no clue what news was in my future.
I haven't had time to fully absorb Bin Laden's death, but my initial reaction is anxiety.
I know that is how terrorists function--their "livelihood," if you will--but that knowledge doesn't ease my mind regarding the possible retaliation to come.
And--call me unpatriotic if you want to, the chanting of USA in front of the White House seems rather juvenile and informal considering the magnitude of the situation and the fact that we are now being watched by the world at large.
Save that cheering/chanting/dancing in the streets for the sporting events; it has no place here.
